Sydney not only has the population, but australian aviation started there and it has over 100,000 employees.
I think adelaide actually does pretty well for itself considering its geographic location and population....i mean it does handle 7million ppl/year.

i wonder if this new building will turn out anything like the renders look. $150mill is not a huge amount for a 'luxurious' hotel complex.

So in effect the government needs to increase demand by possibly reducing payroll tax and other stupid taxes which may lure big business who can set up their base here. Thus increasing the level of demand in offices.. Once this has been established, then we may see higher and shall i say it, sexier...
