[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment Thread - Now Includes Poll!
it looks like crap. one of the ugliest stadium designs i've ever seen completely compromised, stands not the same height, ugly roofs, incomplete bowl. i've conversed with many interstate and many agree. it would be more embarrassing to the state if this was built than not. i'd put it in the west pa...

[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment Thread - Now Includes Poll!
back to AO, if the state government must spend near $600 million of taxpayers money on a stadium, i'd rather it be done right. not on the compromised monstrosity that is the worst of bogan design that is the planned for AO. i just cannot grow to like it, it really would be an eyesore. i don't get t...

And for those people still asking for a roof, f*cking hell, last time I checked, footy was an outdoor sport. If you want a roof over your head when you're watching it, stay at home. If Docklands didn't have a roof this would be a non-issue. How many existing or proposed English Premier League stadi...

[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment - General Discussion Thread
As a farmer, liberal voter and Adelaide United member i get the feeling i'm supposed to be against this but i'm not. I think it is possibly the best thing to happen to the SA sporting landscape in my lifetime and one of the best things for the city/state in general. I struggle to think of anything n...

[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment - General Discussion Thread
cus i can't be buggered looking, if this goes ahead when is it planned to be done by? I have 2015 in my head for some reason.
Only asking as Australia is hosting the 2015 WC and the ashes have been moved forward a year to fit the WC in, would be nice to have it all done before then.

Re: Victoria Wants to Steal Our Clipsal 500
surely it's a typical hysterical media beatup, they allready run the V8's at the grand prix, if the F1 left they would just run the V8's as a stand alone event and make it for championship points. V8 supercars wouldn't take the event from Adelaide, it's the 2nd most prestigious event on the calender...

Re: Record grain harvest
it's always nice when a bumper crop is matched up with top prices. The top prices has also been great for the guys interstate who have lost some of their crop as it has still kept them in buisness.
