With future economic growth in mind (such as discussed by Lang Walker in the Buckland Park thread), increased prosperity, air travel and SA population/migration growth, I think its vital we continue the example of vision and innovation set for our fair city by Col Light. There's already the start of...

some sort of rail link for the airport-CBD is a must. I've had mates from interstate and overseas comment what a great airport we have but then can't believe the metro/train doesn't link it to the City when its only 6kms away. Is this proposed Ho or just what you'd like to see, i wasn't sure from yo...

I wasnt at the game, just saw the 6 goals in replays 2 of which were clearly offside and in my opinion a third one was also offside too I hope it wasnt Breeze who got the final...he has had a record of being unfair toward SA sides. As was p...

"Kew said the fact that Tiger services 15 cities in Asia has meant Darwin is receiving growing visitor numbers from the region" Very much the case with such airlines that their flight schedules can drive tourism rather than the other (traditional) way round. It happened in europe with the ...

Vote for Adelaide here http://www.tigerairways.com/oz/ozwelcome.php Altho there's only Oz destinations to vote for? Whereas I'd have rather voted for a low cost Adl-singapore route or Adl to another asian dest eg, bangkok, which it appears Perth has as well as darwin. But still, good news that europ...

Well it is a soft excuse thats true and wouldn't have stopped me checking venuetix (had i not been a member) but taking up your point on fan bases, the extra people that swell the numbers for big games such as finals come from part-time or casual or friends/family or even non-supporters. As a member...

the attendance on sunday was pretty puzzling, it was lower than several league games earlier this season and less than the semi v MV the week before. I've met many fellow regular Reds fans since and none actually went to the game despite wanting to, all due to hearing the game had been 'sold out' af...

Following on from edgar's post, you either go the Degree route or the Experience one. This has to be done before visa application as you have to provide proof you have the necessary points before applying (waste of your money otherwise). If no degree then you have to plump for your 'best' profession...

Marky, when my mum came out from UK for a visit (confirmed clothe-shop-a-holic) she declared Adelaide must have more shops per head of capita than anywhere she'd ever been in europe! Rundle Mall, Marion, Burnside, West Lakes, Colonnades, many others and suburban shopping lanes.... i don't think your...

And Blackwood and Belair also have train services to the CBD if that's important to you, it was for us and I use the train every day, clean punctual and value for money. Agree with tyler, esp the new areas like Flagstaff Pines, that might be a good option for you cocoschick... the outer suburbs tend...

hey, Depends what you want cocoschick as theres so many suburbs (700??), ie. hills, close to city, sea views, beach, etc. Start to narrow it down first or you'll be overwhelmed! If you post your prefs then i'm sure you'll get plenty of advice which is best for what you want. primary schools (your ki...

Hi Edgar, Beg to differ mate - almost every migrant i know here is on the 110pt visa and its the easiest route in by far for such as Marky - he's same age & family/work experience as me and virtually all the people I know currently on this visa. You're right that you don't get extra points but t...
