You're welcome. It's quite visible from the Torrens footbridge too. (13/8/2017)

I don't visit the city during the day very often, but I was there and decided to take some shots on Monday. (7/8/2017).

I kinda miss the old layout, but great job on the modern revamp. Running perfectly on Opera browser (as far as I can tell).

The boy who cried LeCornu Redevelopment.
How about just making it a proper public park, then building around?

Imagine a 100m+ building that area? It would almost look like a separare CBD! Can't wait until Kodo and Echelon go up, bridging that gap along the South King William corridor.

It's meant to be taller than it's neighbour, but looks shorter. Just an optical illusion?

This is dumb. There is so much we already need to do in this city, without suddenly being excited/distracted by some irrelevant idea that would cost a buttload and not contribute to achieving our existing goals. Focus, Adelaide! Focus!

I second this... it's big and bold, yet elegant with plenty of architectural variety and detail. Can't wait to see West Franklin, Bohem and the one on Waymouth St rise to join the West CBD party!Mpol03 wrote:So glad this bad boy turned out well. Looks sleek, and makes a statement.

That is one glorious golden tower. Almost seems like it should have "TRUMP" written on it.

[SWP] Re: Former RAH Site (Design Competition)
I just saw the video. So this development is basically meant to be a city within a city? Seems like it would detract from the rest of Adelaide, rather than adding to it. There's too much happening all in one place... overly ambitious and not terribly exciting, from a visual or functional standpoint ...

In my opinion, the tower is way too boxy and generic for such an iconic location. Especially with the Casino section having a more interesting design with the curved glass walls.
