[U/C] Re: 57-69 Wyatt St | ~32m | 8lvls | Office

Went past this site earlier today. There's a 'new boutique office' sign out front of the car park portion of the site. Anyone know when it was erected? Google Maps (Apr 2013) does not include the sign. Is this sign indeed a sign? Doubt it - walk past this site maybe once a month, sign has been here...

Re: News & Discussion: General CBD Development

Hey crowddoc, I work for Calvary, so can confirm the rumour is true. Don't have all the info, but from what I know it's only Wakefield & Rehab relocating, not north adelaide. Has been approved by the board, architects now on board drawing up plans, then goes to council/DAP. In the region of 260-...

The ground floor of this is pretty much done as well - assume they want to get started on the second.

[COM] Re: #PRO: UniSA - Centre for Cancer Biology - $80 million

Interestingly, the flyovers in that video show an additional building wedged in between SAHMRI and the Adelaide Uni building (at 0:14). Also towards the end (1:07), the wide angle shot shows the riverside area north of the train lines completely redone, and some bridges across the tracks between SAH...

According to relestate.com.au the Flinders Loft project is sold out. [U/C] Re: #APP: 42-56 Franklin St | Big ugly car park | 8 levels

Pretty sure this is now u/c (the car park I'm assuming). Drove past earlier tonight to notice 2-3 levels of steel frame sticking up in the north-east corner of the site. As they are leaving the front of the site vacant hopefully something can be proposed quickly or franklin st will be one huge carpa...

Re: 10-story housing development at Gilberton Ch 7 site

^^^^ Seriously that looks absolutely fantastic, and is exatly the type of development we should be encouraging. I guess they will be on the pricier side, but if people are prepared to pay why not? With '6000sq m of landscaped gardens, courtyards, lawn area, pool and gym facilities', and '7-star Nati...

Ben, Even more dissapointing, considering when you look at the height limits map it is actually within the 58m area, and even if that was only designed for the precinct, then the whole area around it is 40m (with the exception of buildings fronting grote st)? so go figure, worst case scenario itwas ...

Nice find Howie. Would bring a bit of sophistication to the recent raft of Adelaide developments. Love it. Snorkie's find :) Hope it's a serious proposal not part of a sales brochure. Thanks Howie. Absolutely stunning proposal. Like what they have done with the heritage building as well. On par wit...

I really dont have a problem with this development. Considering what was there before, and considering the stuff built in the 1970s and 80s in Adelaide, I dont mind spark. Id rather some density and this, to nothing at all. If everything built from now on was the similar blue or green glass structu...
