Took some shots yesterday. Sorry for the quality, they're from a pretty old smartphone, as my regular has been stuffing up. I like how Whitmore square is surrounded by homely little one and two story buildings and then on the corner there's this monster going up. http://i.imgur.com/fzEVfEUh.jpg http...

[U/C] Re: News & Discussion: South Road / North-South Corridor
If the motorway to the north of ANZAC Hwy is going to be trenched, then it's likely the Northern ramp of the underpass will need to be reworked. Assuming the motorway is also trenched to the South, this ramp would also need to be reworked. These reworked sections could be made wider, leaving only a...

If this building happened, then we'd have the sixteenth tallest in the country, equal to Sydney's World Tower, and we'd make the list of tallest buildings in the country. It's nice to daydream.

On one hand I'd love to see this happen. On the other having a tower one hundred metres taller than our next highest won't make the best skyline, but that's biting the hand that feeds you, so I'm happy to sit back and watch where this goes. Heck maybe it'll run out of money at 190m and will be for ...

Wat'cha talkin' about, Willis? I quite like Vue. It's not your boring glass box. And as much as I like them, it's not a modernism school replicant. It has a nice bronze colour to it and some interesting angles with the balconies, which are reminiscent to the balcony angles in 152 Grote Street. I li...

I only became interested in the upgrades and infrastructure to the city recently, so apologies if my questions are ignorant. South Road is intended to be a nonstop north-south corridor, right? Is that intended to one day be from Darlington to the northern superway? If so, then how are is it going t...

Awesome photos! :applause: Yes! thank you Norman..great stuff! I wonder if there has been a choice made to not allow a top down shot from a drone to prevent the parklands lobby from freaking out before the landscaping has been done Only asking because I haven't seen one and I would love to get a be...

Didn't they say this was going to start at the new year? Or is part of the process the paperwork of changing the existing building ownership over and relocating the Rhino Room. Not familiar with building protocols.

Hello, first time poster, semi-long time lurker.
When I've walked past the building, I've been struck at how imposing it is. The pillars and the wall of glass really looms above you. Even though it's 20+ smaller than Telstra and Genfell, this one feels taller. It has a real strong presence.
