[CAN] Re: #PRO: 71-83 Franklin Street| 47m | 12 Lvls | Office

Oh God Damn It! Are Woods Bagot the most useless architects or what? Its bad enough CC is going to be the most generic, boring arse block in the city, but we dont need an entire street of the same crap!!! I want a redesign please. Hate these western blank walls. How dissapointing. The only positive ...

Re: #PRO: Wayville Plaza | 7 lvl Reidential & Hotel, Wayville

I must admit i have known about this one for a few months now. However i was and am still unable to disclose much of what I know. All i can say is that the developer is very determined, and certain properties have been purchased way above market value, and at this point expect this project to go ahe...

Looks like this one can be put in the on hold category. Drove past today, and this is now officially a carpark. Just what Franklin street needs :wank: Dont think we will see anything on this site for a while. I been checking out propertylook.com from time to time, and its pretty obvious they are una...

[CAN] Re: #APP: 82 Flinders St | 53m | 17lvls | Office

I know the article says 53m, and Will has mentioned 53m, but either somethings not right, or those renders are massively deceiving. It looks almost twice as tall as IAG which im pretty sure is 39m. Its 17 levels and at 53m, gives you just over 3m per level, which is really small for commercial. Can ...

[CAN] Re: #PRO: 62-66 Currie Street (incl 15,000sqm office space)

Great looking building. Cant quite count the floors but looks about 18 levels, so prob in the 70 - 80m range. Good height, as there arent any major scrapers on that north side of Currie St. Will look brilliant alongside the wave. It might be submitted, but hasn't appeared on the next DAC agenda. I k...

THAT LOOKS BLOODY AWESOME!!! :o And here I am thinking, 17 levels and just over 2000m2 of office space?!!! Was thinking the same thing Pikey. 2000m over 17 levels is just over 100m per level - thats half my house! Very, very cool though, dont think its been done in Australia before. Certainly a cha...

Re: #U/C: [ City Central ] Masterplan Thread

Walked past the site today and it looks like electra house may finally be u/c. There was a mobile crane and a shit load of steel on the site. I am actually as excited over this as I am about the next CC tower. Need more projects that will add some vibrancy to street life, esspecially in this area of...

Good news for all those who dont want to see this one demolished. It is now up for lease on propertlook.com.au, so it doesnt look like we'll be getting a 120m tower here any time soon :(

Re: Approved: Latitude (12lvl - 42m)

The controversial 12-storey project was given provisional development plan consent in May despite a four-year battle in opposition by Bay residents and local business owners . I thought local traders would be in support of increased trade due to more people living in the bay, silly me Manson Towers...

??? WTF!!! You have got to be kidding me! Is Holdfast Bay council run by 5 y.o. playing games. This is embarrasing. Got to agree, the first one is pretty good but damn that second one is bloody awsome. Need more of this kind of thing proposed for Adelaide. Definately one of my favourite proposals!!! P.S. Ok ok I can admit defeat when I make a bad point opposing development. I have a couple more questions... Does anyone know how long the (current) bay junction complex has been there? And when is demolition due for the building? Cheers Hired some movies friday night from the Video store on the corner...

^^^^ Is it possible Will that they build the office building now, and then make sure they have the foundations in place to put up the apartments in the future? Or would that all be lodged in the one DA? 8 apartments seriously could not be that difficult to sell, unless they have financing issues whi...

Wow that looks pretty good, hoping that left half of the building isnt exposed concrete though. Cant quite work out whether that is looking from Grenfell or rundle? Assuming thats the grenfell frontage. As the article says though its a while off which sucks a bit :(
