Re: ONH: Golden Grove Village Redevelopment

My understanding is that the pin setters and ball machines at Ingle Farm Bowland were originally from Clovercrest Bowl, and had spent quite a few years in storage Clovercrest Bowl ? Where was that ? I have lived in the area since 1987 but I don't remember it, I remember Skateline etc but definitely...

Re: Infill Developments | Metropolitan Adelaide

Been driving down to Hallett Cove for the past month for my wife's work. I have never really been down this area so it was interesting to see the development going on down there. I notice there is a new land release near the shopping centre. But I was wondering if anyone knows why there has been no...

[COM] Re: PRO: Northern Connector | 14km | $1b

The immediate north of Adelaide area has always suffered from a lack of east-west A roads. Other than Grand Junction and Regency Roads, all others only go part of the way. Everything else is spoke-like from the CBD. Hopefully the next project will be connecting east-west to the north-south roads. B...

Re: News & Discussion: O-Bahn

It begins Designed to save seven minutes on commute times for O-Bahn users, it’s clearly not all roses. The recently rubber-stamped $160 million city tunnel project broke ground Wednesday by removing the much-loved rose garden and vines from Hackney Rd and is set to cause 18 months of headaches for ...

[U/C] Re: ONH: Tea Tree Plaza Upgrade | $190m

I know Aldi loves their private brands but I was expecting them to at least be more creative with their products. Most of their own brand products are made by the brand name manufacturer anyway. Eg. the cola is made by Schweppes and the bread is made by Tip-Top. Most of their products are made in A...

I can't believe they have gone with this look for the building.
Was there a sale on brown paint somewhere or something?

Aldi TTP has opened today.

Modbury Triangle upgrade is going ahead if you can look past the massive mess.
Surely this will force Westfield into doing something decent with TTP & TT+.

[U/C] Re: ONH: Tea Tree Plaza Upgrade | $190m

So they expect wheelchair people and people with heaps of shopping to walk around 500m to the lift at Coles and walk up the small sidewalk. Thinking about it further, I assume the roof parking isn't for aldi customers. Aldi uses those coin lock trolleys, so maybe only the parking around the bottom ...

The building is coming along nicely. Does anyone know if you will be able to get from the roof carpark into the store? I can only see metal stairs on the outside. There is also a ramp following the creek rather than crossing it. I am surprised Westfield didn't add a roundabout to the main street, i...

Almost the entire carpark is closed off.

Does anyone have any renders of the actual plan other than the photo of the stand from last year?

Bowled at one in Melbourne and the lanes were only half the length of regular ones. No league bowling though is the killer for me Ah I see. Half length lanes seem a bit... um... yeah. Are you sure it wasn't just a Melbourne thing? They are more of an 'adult' bowling venue. They are like S...
