Re: News & Discussion: Electricity Infrastructure

Synchronous Condensers might help stabilise the grid, but even with all this stuff you are still going to need on-demand electricity like gas turbines or combined cycle pla...

Not exactly sure what thread to post this in, however this seems to be a good place. A few days ago I was browsing the internet and found a collection of PDF documents that some here may find interesting. 1973/74 Subway Proposal http://railknowledgebank.com/Presto//GetDoc.axd?ctID=NmQ5ZmY0YWQtNTc4NS...

Got some pictures from North Terrace the other day. The McEwin Building (Space Agency headquarters) is looking pretty nice. Also, demolition of the Outpatients Block is well underway and interestingly, the dumbwaiter system used to transport documents up from the Records Dept. is visible near the to...

These pictures are a bit old, but the walkway connecting the Emergency and Outpatients Blocks has been demolished along with most of the Emergency Block and about half of the Helipad extension atop the Outpatients Block. Refurbishment appears to have begun on the Bice Building.
