Marion has the best fresh food offer in an SA centre with the 3 major supermarkets and great speciality fresh food they probably don’t need more supermarkets
Marion’s issue is a mediocre mainstream fashion and dining offer, not to mention lack of Parking.

[PRO] Re: Westfield Marion (Extension)
Agreed all these stores should be in the city, Rundle Mall is a bit trickier to align though given all the different lessors and building ownership. On the topic of luxury stores weren’t there plans to try and get the likes of Louis vutton, Gucci etc in the heritage buildings next to Tiffany and Co?...

Something I have also heard is a Myer downsize given its uncertainty in the market.. that’s a lot of sqm to fill but possibly with big box type stores? If Myer downsized would they not just close an upper floor or 2. The space would be abandoned, some storage or office space? I don't think there wo...

The TTP extension blew me away when I first saw it, very keen now for them to hurry up and start the 2nd stage of it ie the retail expansion. Seems like a perfect time now that half of the old Tea Tree Plus is empty, hopefully after Christmas it might finally get underway. The plans I have seen, st...

Food Court works have already commenced. Completely stripped down to a shell with temporary tables in.
Should this thread be changed from [ONH] to [APP] if DAC has given the go ahead?

This is interesting? The place desperately needs some casual dining type options.

Anyone know what's happening on the corner of West Lakes Boulevard and Port Road? Just past the OTR and Grange train line. Sites been empty for years.

Rona Kebabs now trading in the food court.
Michel's Patisserie, Kim's Gourmet Poultry, Vom Fass and Virgin Mobile have all closed their doors, unlucky they were all relatively close to each other. Wendy's branding has been removed, now trading under the Golden North brand, same as at TTP

San Churro Chocolateria now open in the old Bendigo Bank site opposite Gloria Jeans. Good set up, they've removed some carpark spaces to activate a street front alfresco dining space.

This would have looked fine if it wasn't for the brown cladding. Should have been all metallic silvers, greys and plenty of glass. The angled design is reminiscent of famous landmarks like the Denver Art Museum or Disney Music Hall in the US which are striking buildings. In fact they could have gone...
