In that render of Victoria Square where did they have the tram terminus? Did someone think about undergrounding the tram from the South Parklands? That would be the best (and costly) solution for the Glenelg-UNISA West Campus line (and any loop back to Vic Sq.). Cheers A resurgence of the MATS plan...

Why don't they try and get some state government funds for a tunnel underneath the square? Sure its more expensive, but everyone wins.

There shouldn't be any O-Bahn buses without aircon (unless they're broken). The first models used on it were 0305 Mercs, and they were quite advanced for their time.

The newer ones are very nice; I wish they'd have built a southern O-Bahn.

The posters should be torn down and burnt, and the organiser of this crap should be jailed.

Its filthy.

Howard's got a point. Not everyone is a quasi-intellectual, greens-voting, latte-sipping individual who wants to live in high density housing.

There should be light/rail lines going through the west (to Henley Beach) and the inner east (to Norwood).

Woomera is an amazing place to go. It was built to test long-range rockets. The British wanted to build a rocket that would go from the British isles to Russia. The only place in the world where they could fire and test sure a rocket accurately was in the Australian outback (they'd be fired from Woo...

We've got two bins for rubbish / recycling (they are split bins, but full-size) and one for green waste.

It doesn't cost *too* much to order a second bin.

This is a complete and utter waste of money. Does the council have any idea how many 'normal' buses it could buy instead of this? Nah every city needs its amazing future energy bus to show how progressive they are! Perth has its hydrogen fuel cell one and we need to one-up them will a solar-electri...

The Advertiser is trash, and I wouldn't be so quick to call it a "rightist" newspaper - it more or less openly supported the re-election of Rann and co.

It's too lazy and too decadent a paper to bother getting real news so it creates its own. Welcome to activist journalism.
