One really shoddy section with practically no bolts holding the rails to 5 sleepers in a row, got mysteriously ripped up and rebuilt a few weeks after I posted photos of it on several obvious forums. That TA drove 220 tons of train over it several times the day I took the photo beggers belief too. ...

This is exactly what West Lakes needs - a bit of money spent freshening up the area. I imagine it was quite the address back in its day - the best new suburb in the world in the early '90s, if I remember rightly, but it seems to have become a little tired around the edges since then.
