Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
Here's a fifth one for good luck...but I'll post a few more showing other options including two CBD loops, a north-south through King William Street and an interchange under North Terrace...and more.

This is an option I came up with after I had a private discussion with Eurostar.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
Here is the first of four CBD subway concepts I've chosen at random from my collection of over twenty different versions. Like I said it all depends what you want the Adelaide Railway station to be used for as well as the Parklands terminal and whether Adelaide Oval, a new rectangular stadium in the...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
Here's a couple of concepts for the Keswick Creek light rail I posted in the forum a few years back but can't seem to find where they were posted.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
[...] A Keswick Creek route also has the problem that every now and then, the creek fills with rainwater. Good to see these guys have used my idea that's been on Sensational Adelaide for years, the use of the Keswick Creek as a corridor to the Airport. I don't have the link to that thread off hand ...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines
Saltwater and Cryptic , well let's hope they are the start of a permanent second service that would give Adelaide travellers the option. Like I said in my post it would've been good if they added these flights during the northern hemisphere summer. Anyhow, looks like I'll be on one of the last Airb...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines
Looks like Singapore Airlines is making those three extra weekly flights permanent from October 2024. The article doesn't say permanent. If SIA were serious about SQ276/SQ277 they would continue after January 22, 2024 or at the very least start these extra flights in June in time for the northern s...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines
Not sure if this differs from anything that hasn't been released in the last few years? It's these... [...] To support more growth expected over the next five years, the airport is planning a series of upgrades described as its “single biggest ever capital investment program”. More than $500m will ...

Can't they lower the floor in the tunnels?ChillyPhilly wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2023 12:38 amNo evidence to suggest 'planned' electrification of the OH/Grange lines, but basically the Belair line can't be electrified due to the low tunnel ceiling.
