Re: SA Now In Recession: ANZ Bank
I agree with ynotsfables that we are not in recession, and anyone with failure on their mind is sick in the head. success is determined by the right attitude. what Ho really wrote is very negative and it seems to me he would like failure to occure I wasn't being negative and I don't want SA to fail...

Re: CBD Height Limits Map
...Adelaide will need a proper ring road setup at freeway/tollway standard, it will need a north/south corridor (at freeway/tollway standard) and it will need an east/west corridor (at freeway/tollway standard)... Adelaide dosn't need an east-west freeway. The important issue here is if they intend...

Re: CBD Height Limits Map
not so sure this is entirely relevant, but i guess It is relevant to making Adelaide a more friendly place for pedestrians and more attractive streetscapes, but I had to go into the city Tuesday for a seminar, it took me 45 mins to get to a carpark from Richmond, ok it was peak hour, but when you h...

Re: SA Now In Recession: ANZ Bank
It sounds like a Liberal government. Although it is good that the state is pursuing such policies, I have to admit that I do cringe a bit when Labor politicians say they are pro-business so overtly. Democracy will suffer if both major parties become so alike, that debate will only be centred on who...

Re: SA Now In Recession: ANZ Bank
Absolutely fantastic thats what i was initially lead to believe all along. This seems more factual than the ANZ's so called fabricated recession. Some nerve hey, they must be Liberal sympathisers supporting the campaining for the up coming federal election. Load of rubbish. The ANZ may lean a littl...

Re: CBD Height Limits Map
I agree with urban and some of the things you guys said since. Put those plans into place and then let developers build buildings to the height limits (where possible) and let's stop this silly idea of modelling Adelaide into a Disney-looking castle.

Re: #Redevelopment - Port Adelaide Waterfront $1.2billion
If this news is correct, it's very disturbing, and needs to be made very, very public. May I ask where you got it from? Some of this news I recall was on ABC's Stateline a little while ago. Yes, it doesn't sound right and not good for a "supposedly" Labor government. There was another sto...

Re: Upgrade of Adelaide Rail Network
In the mean time, I thought I would post one of the shots that got me drooling... Nice photo Pistol78. I bet you those on that train were rubbing their hands with glee watching all those cars crawling on the freeway. I agree jk1237, that if we had a similar system in Adelaide ours would be better. ...

[COM] Re: South Road Upgrade
Couple of questions guys regarding the South Road upgrade: 1. If South Road were to become a North-South freeway would the work being done now on the underpasses be sufficient for incorporation? 2. Will the bridge planned for the tram line only span South Road in its current configuration? If South ...

That should be the metro area local council limit (or something named like that). Anything outside that are country councils.crawf wrote:Great find, Though what is the black line?

[COM] Re: #Article: Expressway Pledge (Howard)
Yeah true.....I am not convinced of anything unless I see some plans. At least then I will think they are for real. I bet you wouldn't do much different if you were in politics, it's the nature of the beast. However I do agree, unless we actually see it being done and completed to our satisfaction,...

[COM] Re: #Article: Expressway Pledge (Howard)
Howard has already proved his lack of integrity several times over - Rudd hasn't yet had the opportunity. If you want to get technical we can argue until the cows come home, however let's concentrate on issues regarding this forum: infrastructure, etc. Both Howard and Rudd are doing their jobs as p...
