[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway
Presumably property acquisition has to precede service relocation, as the services would often be getting moved aside further than the width of the current corridor. Has it been announced whether the tunnels will go below the River Torrens, Keswick Creek and Brownhill Creek? They are all in the sec...

With the eventual completion of this project, a heavy vehicle journey along this section will reduce on average fro...

[U/C] Re: Ovingham Level Crossing Removal | $231m
The increase in construction projects (not just Adelaide) using methods to pre-fabricate massive components off site to then be assembled and moved into place has been one of the best advancements in construction in the last couple of decades. It will be interesting to see how big the largest span ...

Re: New City Arena
It seems this proposal is what I suggested in another thread late last year. Except I also suggested where a rectangular stadium may go as well. I believe the idea of putting a new rectangular stadium over the rail yard next to the new arena has been around for longer than that. IIRC the idea was m...

[VIS] Re: New inner-city stadium
With this weeks announced pending closure (mid 2021) of West End Brewery at Thebarton surely this site would be a prime candidate as a replacement for Hindmarsh Stadium. The previously proposed railyards site could then be used for a smaller 15K multiuse arena. Why build a stadium 300m from the old...

With newly appointed SA transport minister Corey Wingard promising that in the next 6 months items would be added to the Infrastructure Australia priority list.
Hopefully an underground CBD rail link is one of them.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
In a few years time SA will be the only mainland state without trains going through its CBD. Adelaide will never have an efficient rail system without one.
With the completion of the Gawler electrification next year this will now be possible. The sooner the better I would think.
