Re: CBD Development: Low/Mid-Rise

That looks sooooo good.

Unfortunately i can already see this being knocked back because it doesn't 'fit in' with the surrounding area. This will be like Kent town all over again.

Re: #U/C: South Road Tram Overpass

It looks pretty good.

I hope they allow room for south road to expand i.e extra lane on each side. It looks like those massive concrete supports get in the way of that and could be costly in the future.

I must admit i like this orange side facing light square, but does anyone know what the other side (east facing) will look like? Hope it is not a blank concrete wall?

Re: #U/C: South Road Tram Overpass

Ha hah ahahahaha yeah i know that guy, i was friends with him in high school.

He would of just said that on purpose because he knows he will be on television (media loves controversy) and he has done that sort of thing before. He doesn't even use the tram, he owns a mini and lives in Norwood

I walked past here today and there was a couple of workers and and excavator digging up an awful lot of concrete and moving stuff around. Does anyone know what they are doing? Is it to do with constructing this building or just that carpark?

Re: Qantas Failing Adelaide

The stupid thing is that Sydney would not need a second airport if more filghts were spread around other airports in australia (not just melbourne either).
There is too much reliance on sydney airport and they should stop hoging all the international flights.

Bad idea IMO. I hate the mall in melbourne with trams down the middle. It is not only annoying to pedestrians, but the tram itself can only travel at walking speed to avoid accidents.

If BHP have to pay for the entire plant they will probably give the state gov less revenue when the expansion is up and running.

Re: #U/C: Port Adelaide Tram Line

I drive along Port Rd almost daily. I am confused about this project, is the tram running on bonython park, or on the median strip in the middle of Port Rd? As i understand, the tram will be running down the middle possibly taking up one lane, so the road is being widen i.e. bonython park is for ex...
