Re: [PRO] 76 South Tce | 12 levels | Mixed Use

For those who think this is not a seriously proposal. Nobody thought the swiss cheese block on Waymouth was a serious proposal either.

They say this development is too tall and impeding for the 2 storey location showing pictures of the render with the Adelaidean and Yugo in the background lol.
More likely reason: A political faction wants to be shown they are doing something.

[CAN] Re: 207 Pulteney Street | 180m | 55 Levels | Mixed Use

Surely, the developers would have known there is an aquifer there and would have factored it in excavation or digging. The ACC, state government, SA Water and research firms do hydro-geological surveys and reports in Adelaide all the time to assess roadworks, or any excavation. These reports are pub...

I believe you Viny. Absolutely nothing wrong with sitting in the office and listening in on the conversations... Apart from the potential breaches in confidentiality and the trespass notice that can be received when you're not welcome... It's amazing that the argument that they had happened before y...

Like the Perth developments showed above. Curved edges would have been a major win. Why are the attractive designs always smaller than the larger developments

So apparently, in a new report of the sites suitability and physical stability, ground works etc. Its been revealed that there is in fact a little subterranean river /and or aquifer underneath the site This river has quote "prevented subterranean development" hence have to have the car pa...

[COM] Re: Festival Plaza Incl. 115m Tower | $800 million

I tend to agree - I visited Fed Square on my first ever trip to Melbourne and have never felt the need to return on subsequent visits. I'd be surprised if any visitor this saw it as the premier experience of their trip. If that's what we're aiming for with Festival Plaza then that's a very low bar....

It really looks half the size of what it should be. I hope it won't be one of those buildings that always look unfinished.

I am starting to realise that Walker Corp is quite a cheap and nasty developer. Buckland Park as a whole and the set of new traffic lights (ugh) on Port Wakefield Road is a good example of this. Very true. Festival Plaza = Bad infrastructure and features in the wrong place Buckland Park = No infras...
