The demolition is pretty well completed. I assume the site is being levelled in readiness for piling?

Synergy took over the site only 7 weeks ago today, on July 1st.

Piling completed and the raft foundations being set up + crane base on site.

They are pretty damn good

This site is moving fast as well - I would guess this is where the next CBD crane will be installed.

The piling rigs have gone - and some pretty substantial foundation work underway.

With no basement it should move quickly - I assume they will dig out 2-meter or so deep platform fixed on top of the piers?

Hopefully by Christmas there will be out of the ground and a crane on site.

Some photos from last night - construction seems to have picked up now that they are out of the basement.

Would have thought this site would have a concrete pump. The crane looks pretty old... but maybe a rise in the next week or so.

Took a pretty ordinary photo from across Grote Street last night - it is a big block of land.

The Edinburgh Castle hotel has been closed for ages. There are internal renovations underway and it should reopen sometime in August.

The upgrade of the Currie Street office (adjacent to Adelaide BMW) is almost complete. The external work is pretty well done - I iamgine teh fit out will take a while for medical suites. The building has been empty for 5+ years so good to see it leased.
