[COM] Re: U/C: Armada Arndale Redevelopment | $200m
Rev, I would normally agree with your points but with this particular shopping centre [Arndale] there is no point having a master plan to expand the centre if there is little or no demand to take up new space. Further if the current shops/traders are struggling there is likely to be even more vacant...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams
I think for any tram extension to the Parade, Prospect Rd & Henley Beach Rds the space avail. is very tight so the trams may need to share the road with cars etc like they do on Jetty Rd Glenelg. A few years back there was a study that found just extending the tram to North Adelaide wasn’t finan...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines
Torrens I think there is a need for our airport to open longer hours (not necessarily 24/7) as there are only so many “slots” available for planes to take off and land. Once these slots are full then what? It will limit numbers coming in/out of Adelaide.

Re: News & Discussion: Trams
I think the “Riverbank” line should also run all weekends esp. for the tourists and obviously when events are on. The extension should really have gone an extra stop to Adelaide Oval, Ent. centre should have been extended one extra stop to Hindmarsh Stadium and North Tce one extra stop to East Tce/R...

[CAN] Re: 261-263 Pulteney Street | Sky Adelaide | Mixed Use
Maybe they are trying to look minimalistic! Btw, have plans even been approved? They would be trying to start competing for buyers (against other apartment projects) even though no info/plans/prices/approval are even ready. So maybe they have nothing ready yet to even put on the website.

[COM] Re: Festival Plaza Redevelopment | $800 million
Hate to say it but the inside looks the same to me. The pergola/balcony and outside LEDs/screens look good. So my question is, how many millions did this all cost?

Re: Port Adelaide | Developments & News
What if there is no contract? My question was what rights does both the employee have (say a clerk on a wage) and the employer have (and if there is any difference with Govt). Rev, while I agree with your opinion I would like to know what the actual law (ie past cases) says on the matter.

Re: News & Discussion: Trams
Thanks Norman, I thought the same and am wondering when the actual timetable/how it will operate will be announced? Also does anyone know if all the existing bitumen/road surrounding the length of the tram extension (both on North Tce & King William Rd) will be re~laid? I hope so...

Re: Port Adelaide | Developments & News
Does anyone know what the legal rights of the employee and the employer are in such a situation? Also is it any different with Govt depts? So can a (Govt) employee refuse to move to Pt Adelaide and insist on being transferred to another Govt dept instead? If so, are they also entitled to be paid unt...

Re: Port Adelaide | Developments & News
I have also heard stories about popular coastal towns in Australia ie Noosa, Qld where the cafes/restaurants etc find it hard to get hospitality workers as many of the young workforce/demographic have been forced out of the area because of high rental/property prices. The businesses even pay to comm...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams
Does anyone know how the new Festival Plaza/Riverbank tram stop/scheduling will work? Will the trams from the casino turn left onto King William St or will the existing line just keep going straight (or both?) and how will it impact the existing route/how often they run? I know the tram from the ent...
