[CAN] Re: ONH: The Precinct - 5 x 18 lvl - 58m towers
I agree. The close proximity to Chinatown and Victoria Square gives this site a lot of potential. Also given the recent City Central Developments nearby, this whole area could become a buzz of activity.

Re: Adelaide Airport & Airline News
This is FANTASTIC news. I'm curious though, given Emirates currently have a Dubai-Sydney-Auckland (or maybe it's Christchurch) route, I wonder if they'll substitute Adelaide for Sydney given I'm sure there's plenty more demand in Sydney. It just seems a little odd that they'll be able to fill an en...

Re: #Transport Projects
I've always wondered why we don't send trains back up through the Barossa valley. Does anyone know the gauge of the existing line that continues from the Gawler line? Perhaps once the electrification is complete, we can send diesel trains up there from Adelaide, into the Barossa on weekends and publ...

What did they mean when they said at the end of the above video "terminal expansion" and "hotel"? I recall a few years back there were a few things floating around here about them. Also, does anyone know if the terminal expansion means they will be attracting new airlines here? &...

Yes you're probably right here, but I'm curious; if they were to send Cross Road above/below the train line, how would they manage the intersections with Victoria Avenue and Hilda Terrace? Is there sufficient space on either side of the current crossing to allow the intersections to remain intact? A...

[COM] Re: SWP: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment
Perhaps your concern stems from the fact that given the Western Stand was just completed, the government couldn't really just come in and knock it down in order to build a new arena; hence we'll have 3 (seemingly individual, but I'll wait and see) stands that will look remarkably like a public toile...

If they proceed with residential development on this site, will they be treating it as a TOD and constructing a train station next to Raglan Avenue?

Re: The Great Roads Debate
I've had a bit of a browse through some of the old posts and it's a bit embarrassing to read some of the things I wrote, but we'll leave that alone I think. :) What are people's opinions on this now? With the South Road Superway under construction and the remaining section being studied for an event...

I quite liked the DTS Proposal.
Also, how's the duplication going?

I think I'm failing to see the difference between the "Darlington Interchange" and the "recommendation of the Darlington Transport Study". What exactly is the difference and how will the scaling back/scrapping of one affect the other? :/

Wait, so is that nice big revamp of the whole area (the result of the Darlington Transport Study) being scrapped? Such things including the underpass beneath Sturt Road and Flinders Drive? And to really strike fear into the hearts of many, dare I say, the light rail extension to Flinders University ...
