[COM] Re: Adelaide Convention Centre and Riverbank Redevelopment
I'd bet it'll be a newer re-hash of the existing convention centre design, give or take a few elements here and there.

If I have to make one small critique of the building's design, is that I believe the facade on the building's northern elevation needs to be flipped vertically - so that the thinner portion stands above the high pdoium/atrium thingy, and the wider section above the heritage facade. I think it would...

Re: #PRO: City Busway - O-Bahn to West Tce
Thank God.
Now we can get back to the idea of changing the O-Bahn's use as a heavy rail corridor than a busway.

Re: #U/C: $43billion FTTH NBN
Call me a spin doctor, but wouldn't it have been better to spruik to the public that "The Federal Government is investing $27.1bn into the NBN." Sure, you'd discreetly say, we've done a deal with Telstra in the fine print - Just seems obvious that the public would have responded less angri...

Re: #U/C: $43billion FTTH NBN
When they built the railroads back in the 1800's - one could have just as easily said then as well. "We shouldn't build these tracks and things to all the towns and villages across the land, because who knows, in 10 years time, we might have a completely different way of traveling around."...

Re: General Public Transport thread
I actually don't understand what is wrong with having a bus that has a simple three-digit number and goes from A to B.
But no. We have W's and X's and F's and A's and B's and M's and Merry Christmas... (I swear some are still going around with that across the front)

Re: #U/C: $43billion FTTH NBN
I would like to combine this with the Buckland Park thread so that I can confine my distaste to one giant thread of fail. I'm sorry sir, but I must respectfully disagree. Therefore I bestow you upon with the honourary badge of fail. I think more champagne for you at the Gallery would be in the foru...

[CAN] Re: PRO: 260 Pulteney Street | ~50m | 15 Lvls | Stu Apart
Strange proposal.
The site is insanely tiny, barely 5-6m wide, in an odd location, near the Yorke Commercial Campus development. Don't think it'll be as high as 50m - If it's a student apartments proposal, they'll probably be the size of shoeboxes with 2.4m ceilings.
