Clearing of the vegetation has begun. Finally something visual is happening! Does anyone know what's happening with the works on the corner of Diagonal and Seacombe road? My first thought was they are moving the corner away from the bridge which will have to be expanded to fit the north track of th...

Just to clarify; There will be 3 northbound and 3 southbound lanes between Old Noarlunga and Reynella interchanges, and then 4 northbound and 3 south bound lanes between Reynella and Darlington interchanges? Re: Electrification and Resleepering of suburban rail networ

I remember hearing something about the ability to buy standard gauge rollingstock "off the shelf", which made gauge conversion worthwhile. But if we're buying broad gauge rollingstock ..... I remember this also, which is why I'm a bit confused as to what is actually happenning with all of...

Re: Electrification and Resleepering of suburban rail networ

Converting the track to standard gauge in 2016 has been the plan for a long time now. The trains the Government has ordered are all broad gauge. What's the point of going to Standard Gauge at all then? If you've got broad gauge track with Broad gauge trains running on it, there's no need to change ...

No They Haven't. I was down having a look this morning and there's been no movement on that.

Would be quite interested to know if anyone has an idea on when this might start happenning, would be a sight to see I think, Although very slow sight I suspect.
