Islington Business Park

I was driving up Churchill road today and I saw quite a lot of activity on the site of this and thought I wonder what the hell that is. So I googled it but other than a few photos on realcommercial the only thing I could find was this: http://www.rs.realestate.com.au/objects/props/3990/5673990,20100...

Re: #PRO: City Busway - O-Bahn to West Tce

More hysteria and a shortage of facts in the Murdoch Press today. Remember the councils have no say in this project as it is a State plan. Not actual news: http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/south-australia/council-hates-61m-bus-lanes-plan/comments-e6frea83-1225904364334 http://east-torrens-messeng...

Hey isn't there a Rydges on the corner of south and west terraces? Is that staying or going after the fit out is compete? Will they just relocate to the new site?

[CAN] Re: CAN: Spire Living | 107m | 37lvls | Residential

For sale up is on site now. From what I can gather from the near by workers on the CC8, there is no real interest from Aspen in the site. Could be an empty plot for quite a while. Might not be such a bad thing, what's the point in the site being owned by people who don't intend to or can't use it. ...

Understood. So that probably answers the previous question then as to whether or not it's likely this project will be revived. Unlikely in its current format because it isn't designed to meet market demand and is cost prohibitive.

Just to confirm this development isn't dead. There was an extension of time granted earlier this year which doesn't expire till February 2011. is that merely a technicality though or is there actually a legit chance that this development will come to life again? That's what I want to know too becau...

I do have to ask though, can this project really be completed to an acceptable standard at just $17M? We all know that in life you get what you pay for, how is it they've managed to keep the cost so low? It's only a 6,150sqm building, which is quite small. That's true and I had the same thought but...
