Have to say the new RAA sign on the former Santos/Westpac building looks excellent, especially good at night time when flying into Adelaide 8)

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

From a couple random articles i've read over recent years, modern aircraft are much less disruptive to residents living close to airports..... as in, they are able to ascend and descend at steeper angles compared to older planes. I'm sure the engines are probably quieter also. So what i'm trying to ...

I think this looks amazing, but share the same skepticism as most on here. Would love to be proven wrong of course.

That tower 3 looks excellent, be nice if we could have something like that as an office building in the core CBD.

[APP] Re: 1-25 South Esplanade, Glenelg | 42m | 12 Levels | Apartments

For fucks sake, there’s a 12 storey building next to it. This sort of density is perfect for Glenelg, what on earth is the chief government architect on about. I dare say, this was a case of 'where does the higher density in Glenelg stop'... Build this, and within ten years that entire stretch of b...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

Yeh, being a frequent visitor to Vietnam, I was pretty disappointed when I saw the schedule - horrid is correct. I was hoping for a direct flight. I'm guessing that their A321's don't have the range to make it non-stop from ADL to SGN, and they don't believe there enough demand to fill an A330's - ...

Worst kept secret in Adelaide. Besides anything that has Salvatore ‘Sam’ Sgherza is involved in behind the scenes is never going to be a real project. Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport Contracts, Service & Policy

The article is spot on. Adelaide's public transport in its current state COULD be functional - if it were faster and more frequent. Nowadays we see the consequences of a heavily underfunded system that has been neglected since the 1980s, and even earlier. Do you think $696 Million is underfunded th...
