[COM] Re: #COM: Oaklands Park Interchange

I'm thinking that the fixed vertical info booth that norman photoed above is going to be some sort of digital lcd display. Its got a tough grille over it, but the reason why i think this is because they seem to have waited for the security cameras to go up before actually setting it up. wow that bo...

Re: Extension plans for Tonsley, Noarlunga lines

Bribe him to give Adelaide money for useful projects that will actually benefit people instead of wasting $4bil on that useless 5km metro to Rozelle in Sydney. no no, Adelaide will probably get ripped off again as usual, and we will see a nice new cross city tunnel and new motorway (tolled of cours...

Re: SA seeks rail revamp funds

as far as park n ride goes, I agree its a silly concept of a transit system, but its currently in vogue. IMO its better to have these people drive to their railway station, than drive all the way into city and caus congestion. There is an overwhelming attitude within the Aust suburban middle class,...

[DEF] Re: AAMI Stadium to recieve a $100million facelift

You just don't get it do you? Excuse me? Who just doesn't get it? There's a heck of a lot of theory being posted on here, and a lot of fact being ignored. Just read the last couple of pages again before ranting. Nowhere have I said they should or shouldn't build a new stadium. I'm just getting sick...

[DEF] Re: AAMI Stadium to recieve a $100million facelift

4. Don't extend the tramline to West Lakes (which would only really be well used during Footy matches) what!!! i have to agree with Norman on this cause West lakes is a pretty big suburb and will be even bigger in the near future, how come people think that AAMI Stadium is the only thing in West La...

[DEF] Re: AAMI Stadium to recieve a $100million facelift

With the recent success of Adelaide United, it's time this city moved with the times and built a new Multi purpose stadium that will compliment all football sports.. doesn't matter now, the upgrade of AAMI has been called off, we could be waiting a long time before we see a massive new stadium anyw...

[COM] Re: South Road Upgrade

this place needs a north south freeway, end of storey. cars spend twice as much time on the road making a journey along the north south route in this city than they would if there was a non stop corridor. vehicles still emit GHG when they are stopped at the 30+ traffic lights along south road or ma...

lol wouldn't surprise me, anything to get a story. Hopefully the extension to Seaford will be completed by 2014 which is when the the Noarlunga line is supposed to be completed...but it's good that the Minister for Transport said that it was inevitable, so lets hope the people of Seaford get their t...
