You're right, actually. I was aware of the two concepts but naturally assumed the worst one was older. Mine are dated 2011 so are long off the drawing board.

At a compromise, a simple lick of paint to a less garish colour would be better than nothing.

They're just doing heritage conservation work on the building - taking a bit longer than expected so you'd be forgiven for thinking it was something major!

The car park is owned by Wilson so not much they can do about that right now. As for the yellow Lego block buildings, you can see it is part of their three year outlook as well as moving into the former night train building in light square - fancy renders from page 12 in the publication located at h...

If something good came out of last months Hindley Street fire it is that the fronting Polites building (former Tilt building) had had its terrible blue cladding removed from its frontage - actually a nice looking building behind all that (with a fresh lick of paint to boot)

Turning of the sod for the Great Hall was this morning. Demolition of Child Care to begin next week.

Expected to be open late 2017.

It's the City West Childcare relocating from Hindley St to make way for the great Hall.
