A new petition anyone?

#1 Post by Wayno » Sat Feb 09, 2008 2:59 pm

hi all, just thinking ahead - are there any development proposals at risk that would benefit from us creating a new petition? perhaps we could help generate visibility and momentum...

Also, excuse my ignorance (i've been an S.A. member for only ~7 weeks) but how many people signed our Vic Park petition? how did we let people know of the petition? and to whom did we submit it?http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/vicpark/

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

I already have a petition written up regarding the Latitude building in Glenelg. When the local council releases it's own anti-Latitude petition, it will be the perfect time to release our own pro-Latitude petition.

I think that such a pro-development petition would become a newsworthy article in the local Messenger newspaper!
