Seriously all our city needs is one single 200m tower. I think the density is great, but one single beacon for our city would really help put our skyline on the map.

Totally agree, just look at Auckland in New Zealand as a classic example..... There city is virtually the same size as Adelaide and pretty much has that one major tower that sets the city skyline and is an icon for New Zealand itself.

Adelaide needs some vision, heres hoping this minning boom floods a lot of money into this state and we start seeing some serious structures and construction like whats happening in Perth and Brisbane. :)

I must confess; I had to flick between the two photos several times before I actually noticed all the differences.

Basically I just filled in the gaps for VS1, Spire, CoH, Currie. I didn't do any of the KWS South precinct (although having just found Optus then, I just may!) and the Balfours Precinct & City Central is still on the drawing board really, so I shouldn't jump to conclusions. Should probably put in Coglin Place..

Anything else I've missed out on?

I must confess, just over a week ago I had a dream where we had 3 or 4 towers east of the Grenfell Centre that ranged in height bewteen 135metres to 200metres. ACC, AAL, CASA please...

Cheers

Just an idea but how about Adelaide gets something like the Taipei tower...well obviously not that big or the same shape, but one large building that can define Adelaide, rather than the boring old Santos/Westpac building, or what ever you want to call it.

NIce work Shuz! Gives a really good idea of what our skyline may look like in a few years. As long as everything keeps plodding away at a positive pace, Adelaide will look very different in the near future :D... Barring some unforeseen disaster
