Adelaide: The City of Light.

Now that Rundle Lantern is up and running it got me to thinking. It's a great concept, but the problem is that it is one thing... what we need to do is having a combination of similar (yet different) concepts that link.

Bring back the North Terrace lights from the Festival, make it all year round with the ability to change the imagery every few months. I imagine the hard part is getting the light dimensions to match the buildings, once that's done, there's a template that any artist could work with (similar to Fusion).

Another thing that could be looked...maybe something like this in the Torrens with nightly displays:
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/g0fSTvQJBsU&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/g0fSTvQJBsU&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/youtube]

If Adelaide starts building up a repertoire of installations like this, it could become a nightly tourist route.

Any other ideas?

Establish a Fremont Street development over Hindley or Gouger St.
