A larger Ferris Wheel for Wayville showgrounds...

#1 Post by The Scooter Guy » Sat Aug 15, 2009 3:35 pm

Since the Skymaster Ferris Wheel at the showgrounds is getting old, maybe it could be replaced by a larger Ferris Wheel similar to Melbourne's version in the next few years! Maybe with first class & third class compartments! :P
For starters, my avatar is the well-known Adelaide Aquatic Centre insignia from 1989.

1st class goes all the way round, while 3rd class does not?
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

Half way - half price!
Exit on the right in the direction of travel.

Will it fall apart like the one in Melbourne too ?
Given previous experience around Adelaide with retracting lights and amusement rides, it would be safer to have it made in China and shipped over here in pieces.

The one in Melbourne was fixed a few months ago!
And genuine replacement parts keep the Skymaster wheel serviceable!

1st class, they would have bigger legroom and upholstered seats while 3rd class, I pity they would have hard plastic seats and less legroom!
