You cyclists should just get a car

I'm not into undergrounding pedestrian/cycleways, they tend to devolve VERY quickly into grafitti covered walls and human excrement covered floors. If only we lived in a society where the public as a whole respected and maintained public structures -- but alas.

Overpasses might work, being out in the bright sunshine (when it's not raining) is nicer.
Exit on the right in the direction of travel.

I'm not trying to be stereotypical but I guess it would depend on the area aswell. There's a pedestrian underpass on Golden Grove road that goes to Sunnybrook Shopping centre which is grafitti-and-feces-free
Don't burn the Adelaide Parkland (preservation society)

It's clear how it works from above but how confusing would it be from ground level ?

I'd imagine that intelligent use of signage would clear up confusion.
