ABC is currently showing a series by e2 (E Squared), created in 2008 and narrated by Brad Pitt. Topics include public space design, public transport, energy usage, etc. I today caught the last 10 minutes of the paris public bicycle network episode.
You can buy episodes for ~$2 each from

http://www.pbs.org/e2/shop.html). I'm sure you can find free downloads elsewhere if you are inclined to such methods.
