This project in my hometown Stuttgart is massive. In it, they are planning to turn the main station on a 90 degree angle and put it underground, allowing urban redevelopment to occur on the old rail yards and a faster, more direct route across Europe. The renders are spectacular, and I will be over there soon to see the progress myself. Construction started in February 2010.
