The event was launched today with the new website going online :

I notice they've added 'Adelaide' to the title with the event now being
called the Clipsal 500 Adelaide. Anyway they're going to have night racing on thu
and fri night and at this stage there's only a concert on the sat night followed by
fireworks. I am sure they'll add a concert in for the sun night.

I'd like to see the all-new 'Big-Bang' fireworks display! Like Skyshow, it can be seen from a long distance, especially the Redwood Park reserve (on the corner of Harper St & Dickerson Wy)

They've announced the bans which will play on Friday & Sunday nights. The line up is not as strong
as what is had been in previous years. I've never heard of some of these bands :

Friday night :

Dead letter circus
Children collide
The Killgirls

Sunday Night :

Doobie Brothers
The Sweet

I remember last year they opened the gates on sat. night for the fireworks at the end. Does
anyone know if they'll be opening the gates this year ?
