Beer Garden
Re: Beer Garden
I upload my photos as an attachment. However what always baffles me is that even though the preview shows the photo the right way up, when posting it changes onto its side. Only 1 or 2 pics have managed to post as is.
Good idea about the OneDrive, I may start using that tool.

Re: Beer Garden
When you take images with your phone, all images are saved in the same orientation relative to the camera sensor - regardless of which way up you're holding it. Rather than actually rotating the image (potential for further image quality loss when you're dealing with lossy compression like with JPEG), instead it just sets a piece of metadata that says which way to display it. That particular bit of metadata is getting stripped when you upload onto the site.[Shuz] wrote:I upload my photos as an attachment. Sorry for the Facebook link, however it seems that a batch of bad concrete has been shipped from Adelaide Brighton Cement that may have been used in some major construction sites around Adelaide. Investigations are underway as to which projects may be affected. In some cases foundations may need to be extracted and repoured. Major costs there.

He started at Aldinga, circled the city for a while, landed at Parafield - https://www.flightradar24.com/data/airc ... b/#d86e0c7rev wrote:Anyone have any idea what this was about today?

Left Parafield, circled the Western suburbs, circled the city, returned to Aldinga - https://www.flightradar24.com/data/airc ... b/#d870015
Left Aldinga circled for a while, landed again - hhttps://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/vh-whb/#d872153
My best guess is flight training but that doesn't answer the circling the city question..

Re: Beer Garden
There was another small aircraft that took off from Parafield from memory, flew north and then headed south along the metro coast line before heading north again to Adelaide Airport. Didn't get a screenshot of that one.
My guess was going to be that they were taking high res photos for mapping services? But your suggestion of flight training makes more sense from what I saw, with the plane making small corrections(I assume).

The 's' has made its return to the sign. Wonder how many people proof read it and missed the mistake.GoodSmackUp wrote:

Re: Beer Garden
If you search the rego it's an aircraft that is used for aerial photography. I'd say getting photos of some specific event or a training flight. The part of its track that goes directly East-West above Adelaide Oval cross the approach path into Adelaide airport so one of those sets of circles is likely orbits awaiting clearance to proceed.rev wrote:Anyone have any idea what this was about today?

Re: 27-31 Angas Street | 103m | 30 lvls | Kodo Apartments
Hard to believe it has taken almost 30 years for Adelaide to get a new building up over the 100m mark. Keen to watch this one going up, as well as the construction of Adelaidian as the new tallest, even if it is only by 3m, hopefully more will follow
