This new look is specifically recommended for genuine newer generation browsers.
So if you're using an older version of Safari, Firefox, Chrome, etc, then it's time to upgrade.

Re: Beer Garden
I kinda miss the old layout, but great job on the modern revamp. Running perfectly on Opera browser (as far as I can tell).

New layout certainly is a change! Still missing quick reply in threads, but maybe that's an anti spam protection.

Here's a ten minute video that covers quite a few traffic related topics we've discussed on here, which a few people find so counter intuitive they won't accept.

In reality Westpac House should never have been built in the first place.metro wrote:Hard to believe it has taken almost 30 years for Adelaide to get a new building up over the 100m mark. Keen to watch this one going up, as well as the construction of Adelaidian as the new tallest, even if it is only by 3m, hopefully more will follow
So in that sense we are lucky to have had the 1.

Re: Beer Garden
I think he's referring to the fact that when it was constructed at the time, special approval was given to go above the PANS-OPS limit. That wouldn't happen today as CASA are a lot stricter on such matters.
My understanding is that because it's already been built, the precedent therefore has been set for buildings to the west of Westpac are also able to go beyond what should have been the original PANS OPS height limit, due to some conical radar equipment issue that stems from the building's airspace "shadow" that permits ever so slightly taller buildings.
It's all very confusing bureaucratic nonsense. That's part of the reason why the Luminescene / Sofitel Hotel next door to TAFESA is able to go up to 110m and the proposed Newmarket Hotel (HQ) site office buildings are 85m tall.
Probably a good thing, TBH, IMO.

And it begins....
This protest is just tarnishing their reputation even more and causing havoc for passengers. It's an idiotic move.
Absolute ridiculous thing to do. Lose money and give people more of a reason to use Uber. Personally, I'm so fed up with taxi drivers going under the speed limit, taking the scenic route, the rudeness or even just the poor hygiene of some drivers. Don't get me wrong not all taxi drivers are like this, though my past experience has been pretty poor at the best of times.Delays for passengers as taxi drivers stage Uber protest

UBER pick-up services at Adelaide Airport will not resume until the safety of drivers can be guaranteed, a company spokesman has said.
Neither taxis nor Ubers are currently operating from the airport, as cabbies protest the lifted ban on UberX pick-ups.
The rideshare operator cancelled all pick-ups just hours after it was yesterday granted access to the airport, amid a taxi blockade and “threats” to its drivers.
The taxi rank has been cleared and passengers are being bussed to the city, where they will be able to catch a taxi or an Uber.
The connecting bus to the city is free, and Uber and taxi services to the airport are operating as normal.
Earlier this morning, Uber rides remained unavailable and taxis arrived about every 10 minutes.
Passengers, unhappy with the waiting times, refused to line up in the rank, and left to find alternate transport.

I wonder if the taxi union will protest the airport tram line
