TV Show: Vertical City

If you can recieve HD channels on your TV, tune to TenHD on Sundays at 5pm. There is a show called Vertical City that is all about skyscrapers and architecture. Last night they talked about the Eureka Tower. It's quite interesting, I highly recommend it.

National Geographic Channel's 'Megastructures' is also shown on the Ten HD channel during the week at some time. Check that one out too...it focusses on constructions that are extreme, ie. the biggest, longest, tallest etc. and also project's with an element of novelty such as Dubai's Palm Islands. don't forget Sea Launch...which involves the construction of the only cape canaveral style satellite launcher..However the brilliance lies in the fact that all this is done atop the sea and in equatorial waters!

I love those series. The Burj Al Arab is my favourite episode from those series. There's also another Nat Geo series floating around called MegaCities.
