I think Adelaide is a great place to live now, but I just thought I'd say that I think, by 2020, with all the development and changes going on, Adelaide will be quite a vibrant place. In terms of the city, but also metro areas like Bowden, Port Adelaide, Glenelg, etc.

As long as we increase our employment rate, and there hasn't been some sort of economic collapse, in two and a half years I really think it will be great destination to live and also travel.

Adelaide wont exist in 2020.

Well, looking at the current trend of progress, I believe in a few years' time, it would definitely be a city with a lot of prospects. Since the economy has been stable thus far, the ideal living situation looks feasible as of this current moment. Hopefully the future will be much brighter or at least as secure as today.

An economic collapse like Holden shutting up shop?

SA is doing some good stuff lately but it won't take much at all for the bit of momentum we are building up to stop in its tracks. The amount of young people leaving Adelaide is still very worrying.

legalise marijuana and watch them flood back

I'm not sure legalising pot will attract all those youth back, given:

1. Ice, caps and pills is all the rage these days. Unfortunately.

2. Being caught with a joint is basically a slap on the wrist offence and the cops just chuck it in the bin.

3. Weed doesn't help people get jobs or make money. In fact, it has the opposite effect.

Some of the most productive people I know will chill out on the weekend with weed. Then again so do some of the least productive.

How is growing, transport, storage, training, research and selling weed not jobs? And thats direct before you add building facilities, accountants and other support services to business etc.

Does the beer industry create jobs?
