I agree. They were such nice names on some cases.

This +100. Live in a suburb with the Park monkier in it. I always feel like suburbs with the name Park are the lesser cousin.

If we're dropping the Park, should we just rename it to Side?

Would Parkside become Sideside then?
Looking forward to a free-flowing Adelaide!

Well since there's no "park"s there will be nothing to be park side. So Parkside will just become " ".

There should be a suburb called Suburb.

Rename Morphett Vale so that it no longer sounds like Morphettville.

Sorry to bump this thread but I've always thought the eastern side of Pasadena should be renamed to Eyre given that many of the street names are towns on Eyre Peninsula.

Incidentally, Adelaide's newest suburb is called Eyre - out north next to Edinburgh.

Area between South, Bains, States & Wheatsheaf Roads could be Thrushgrove. Area by South, Wheatsheaf, States and Doctors Roads could be Wirreanda.

I would like to rename some of the streets with multiple names into one name each. One of the worst early examples is the change of names across KWS (aparently just so the king's name would not be crossed).

ADELAIDE - TOWARDS A GREATER CITY SKYLINE

No way, that's a unique part of Adelaide... What needs doing is renaming all the roads that were cut in half when Port Wakefield road was built. Port Gawler Road, Artesian Road, Baily Road(Although they did change it to Baily Road West), Halstead Road, Supple Road... And I'm sure there's more
