The crane at the airport appears to have Built branding on it. I thought Watpac had the contract to build the hotel? They definitely had the contract to demolish the ramp. Were these contracts (ramp demolition and hotel construction) awarded separately?

Built are building the hotel. Watpac were dealing with underground services and other aspects of plaza and link work.

A start was made to take down the crane at UNISA but very little was done today Saturday , most of the work will be done on Sunday.

Beaten to it! I can see the jib is tied up and looks like the line and hook have been removed already too.
Will keep a eye out today, but I would have thought they'd start early today.
EDIT: Got a mate on site, the crane is rescheduled for next Saturday - Weather permitting

There is a non Favco type crane base at the Uniting church site in Franklin St. Picture when up loading capability restored.
