Surely the cranes for Realm, Adelaidean and 260 Flinders aren't too far off (within the next month or two).

Next one to come down in the city would be the Synagogue Place Tower - so count could get as high as 16.

18 but they were all in the CBD and 10 were just for the RAH and Adelaide Oval (6 +4). this is the most cranes we have had from private investment ever.

Certainly is great news.

We do sit way behind on Melbourne, who at last count have 165 and Sydney, with an eye-watering 350 cranes. However, these numbers in historical and even global terms are very extreme anomalies.

Having seen the crane on site I think one is all that is needed .This crane is located near the centre of the site and can cover the whole site. The only reason to have 2 cranes would be to speed up the construction.

There was 18 cranes for a few weeks around 4 May 2013 with 7 at the new RAH and 4 at Adelaide oval. There was eventually 8 cranes at the new RAH but by that time the 4th crane at the Adelaide oval had come down.

There was also 18 cranes between 11 Feb and 26 Feb 2017 & from 9/9/2017 to 16/9/2017.
it would be nice to 18 for a long period not just a week or 2
