Curious as to why they didn’t build the tower right on (or closer to) the boundary to the left?

Why is it elevated in the back there? I'm referring to the elevation you can see to the left of the core.

I assume the rear of the podium will be car parking, hence the change of grade and the different opening alignments from the northern to southern sides of the core.

As they shouldn't be. I recall they were scheduled to have the podium finished by July 30.
