Regarding the colouring of the panels, I don't really agree with the 'faded yellow' description. Certainly a more subtle gold colour, which I don't think is a bad thing.
You are right though, it is a little tricky to get too much of a read on how it will look without seeing it in person. I too am looking forward to going for a wander past and having a look.

I believe that the actual effect of gold colour cannot be represented in the RGB colour space of computers, web pages and televisions. Wikipedia has a wide range of colours called "<something> gold" at

We've all noticed that building colours in photos appear to change depending on the lighting. Most of us also know that the artists impressions of future buildings always choose to imagine the perfect lighting that might only occur once every few years for a few minutes.
Thanks for that - agree that a digital photo is probably never going to do it complete justice.
Those colour encyclopedias are a rather pleasant internet rabbit hole to get lost in, btw

Great photo. This is really going to standout, they are putting in the scaffolding for the 14th floor and the slider is at the 16th. also it is showing the shape of the building starting to appear. This one will have prominence due to location and hopefully design, the Adelaidean I think will be prominent due to sheer size and the way it is dominating that end of Frome St.
It will be interesting to see which one Adelaideans (pun intended
)adopt as their reference point when offering directions/guidance.

So if this is the penthouse floor 38.01 and 38.02 and the penthouses are 2 floors, that get us to level 39. So where is the 40th level? or should I be counting ground floor as level one? I have always thought of ground, 1, 2, etc and in America they go 1, 2, 3 etc which always confuses me.

Level 39 is the 40th floor. In my current building it is ground then level 2 is next. So they all differ.

I've noticed a lot of newer buildings dispense with ground in favour of level 1. I wish we'd just adopt one or the other.
