Update on Waymouth Street. Kerbing and stormwater upgrades are almost done, and the base of the new footpath is currently being constructed.

I drove down bank street a couple of days. I arrived at Hindley street and wtf there's no traffic light to signal when you can turn ????

Like a million other street intersections worldwide? What are you on about.

It's pretty busy there a lot of the time, I would have thought a set of traffic lights would have been in order.

If you're turning left then lights aren't needed. If you're turning right onto Hindley Street then Bank Street probably isn't the best route to be taking.

Not sure if it's been posted before but here's a high-level overview of the final Gawler Place design.

Thanks Norman - does that mean the vines have grown sufficiently to start covering the top of the structure? Or have they just given up on the flappy things?

Not yet, they are still a fair way off the top, but getting there in another 3 months or so.

Maybe: They were intended to provide a little shade from the harsh, overhead summer sun. Now that the day star has slipped lower in its arc, the flaps are not needed. Simulating the vines' lack of leaves in the winter.

I dunno, I'm not a lawyer.
