The festoon lightoon looks great and maybe should be kept all year round to brighten the place up but i wonder how many major shopping precincts would have spray painted plywood trees as decorations

Also, something up for discussion... Yesterday afternoon a guy jumped off the third floor inside the Myer Centre and sadly passed away. Apparently this isn't the first time, which is the explanation for the netting that once hung across the centre which was then removed to make way for the dangling ornament. If this is likely to become a thing, manager should probably consider people's lives over aesthetic features...

This is a discussion for the beer garden but two counterpoints: 1) it's not nearly as common an occurrence in public as you worry 2) if someone's determined to do something, they'll do it - nets or not.

Why is this a beer garden topic? It relates to the recent upgrade of the Myer Centre... If this is beer garden discussion then so is a lot of what is said on this thread... To counter your counterpoints 1) regardless, it still happens/can happen - it's an avoidable scenario when compared to an unnecessary decretive ornament. 2) Perhaps that is the case, but what happens when someone dives down and lands on an innocent passerby? Just because it's not common, doesn't mean we shouldn't try and prevent it happening.

They have been bought out and will open 5-7 stores in Melbourne, Sydney and 1 in Adelaide.

Jurlique set to open largest flagship at Adelaide’s Rundle Mall

Skincare retailer Jurlique will open its largest flagship on December 1 at Adelaide’s Rundle Mall.

The store will house three treatment rooms, consultation areas and a large, free-flowing shop floor.

Jurlique also recently opened a new concept store at Westfield Bondi Junction in Sydney.

The skincare brand now has over 16 concept stores around Australia; while the company operates a biodynamic farm in the Adelaide Hills and has a new processing centre opening mid-next year at Mount Barker.

The retailer has strong roots in South Australia, founded in the Adelaide Hills by Dr Jurgen Klein and Ulrike Klein in 1985, the company now has a presence across 20 countries.

“Our vision was to formulate and manufacture the purest skincare products available based on the healing properties of nature and to inspire people to health and wellbeing…Jurlique was driven by this vision,” said Ulrike Klein.

Designed by architect Kelvin Ho from Akin Creative, the flagship store draws on the company’s South Australian heritage with sustainably sourced and manufactured materials used in its construction.

“Jurlique’s authenic brand values have inspired the choice of materials, not only in the colour palette and textures, but also in the selection of natural, sustainable and honest materials,” said Ho.
