I am confident that their finest minds will dig up all of the accurate "facts" about this one. Image

Just curious - would they make any changes to the rest of the centre, ie. JB Hi-Fi? That staircase and the claustrophobic basement are not entirely pleasant.

Seeing as most of the foot traffic coming in and out of the centre is for those stores on the basement level it'd be great to see them install escalators similarly placed to those going into the basement at Rundle Place, and remove those that are located towards the back of the centre. Perhaps even reposition those escalators heading to the upper levels so that when people walk in, beyond that staircase, the first thing they're greeted by is access to the upper levels. Not to mention, the escalators themselves are narrow and dated, but that's more of an aesthetic thing than practicality.

French Connection is now closed and being emptied. I am worried this site will be a dead zone for some time as no development application has been lodged. I imagine any action is atleast several months away.

I'm sure we'll get a book clearance store in there until then.

Spaghetti Western is opening soon next door to the Ambassador's Hotel (where that fire-gutted convenience store was).

Surveyors are currently working on the ground floor of Rundle Mall Plaza, and a group of men in fashionable glasses and carrying iPads were also hanging around the place. Make of that what you will...

Group of people from Rebel Sports just arrived for a meeting with the building manager in RMP.

If they're looking to move to a redeveloped RMP then hopefully that's as a secondary tenant...
