Great first shot with the panoramic view of the city from the back of the Southern Stand. Undercuts previous opinions on the view being interrupted by that beautiful old red gum(s).

That is taken from the very top of the stand not the dining room which is a fair bit below that level. Either way it gives a beautiful perspective of our city.

Looks like theres going to be a mix of teal and red seats. Good to see that they're not going all out teal

I'm glad that they won't all be teal, because I always thought it was ill-suited, but good grief what a colour combination! They obviously haven't got a set aesthetic that they're working towards.

The colour combination with the seats is pretty good as far as I am concerned.
Could be a lot worse - look at the Gabba for example. Ridiculous,

the Gabba would have to the ugliest oval in Australia, simply because of their seat colour choice. Shows how important it is to get it right.

I think there's a lot more about the Gabba that's ugly myself. Horrible, horrible venue.
One big uniform concrete bowl.
So glad that Adelaide Oval is split into three separate and unique stands, rather than one continuous structure.
