I'm well aware it's a sucky photo, but here's one I took at the cricket on Thursday showing the northern skyline impact of this building as the red covers come off.
I notice that Bohem's crane is also visible in this shot, so it will also eventually have a similar level of prominence from this angle, though it will be blocked out of view if that building on Franklin Street with the spectacular floor plans is built

Don't argue with me on this, crawf I'm the one with the beige blocks on Google Earthcrawf wrote:^^ and possibly Sofitel
You're right that the Sofitel will have a huge impact from here (and also that terrace bar whose name I forget looking out over the Torrens), but from this angle it will be slightly to the left of the Oak Building on the left, as opposed to the gap between the Oak buildings which will be filled in by Bohem and possibly the apartments with the formidable floor plans.
In any case, great to see this building contribute to the continued modernisation of the western CBD.

I don't know what you're referring to, but can you please not resort to threats. You're not given such executive power for that reason.Pikey wrote:Thread cleaned up, again.

From what I can see, this building looks quite nice! I like the contrast it has with the surrounding grey/orange buildings. Western CBD on the rise

I just can't wait for all the shade cloth to be gone, I'm so used to seeing the red when I look at it, loving the slow reveal but the sooner the better

I honestly think this will be one of the best quality residential buildings we have seen in recent times. The quality of the finishes is great, from what i can see. Plus, as the protective covers come off, more of the architectural details are revealed.

It is certainly looking much better than i had ever predicted, not sure if the black is hiding all the imperfections or not?
I still hate the podium, the lack of articulation on the first few levels detracts entirely from this building IMO.
But awaiting final verdict!

This is looking exactly like the renders
Sleek design and a boast to the main city entrance from the airport. I look forward to more development along Grote Street.
