Article in todays paper has mentioned Quest will be leasing some if not all of the aprtments in this building. This is probably what helped it get off the ground. Quest are on a big growth drive in SA.

This one is taking shape nicely... quite a bit of activity on it on a daily basis.

Going up very rapidly... hard to count floors though because of the covering they are placing over the front...

Massive crane rise yesterday. I only saw from a distance but this could easily be tallest crane in CBD at the moment.

They added about 6 sections last weekend the while thing is moving along at a good rate. Full 7 day site and hasn't stopped for public holidays

Thanks for the photo... this building is already having a surprising impact look south from VIc Sq sort of area. As others have noted elsewhere, it highlights how flat many parts of the city are but I think this will be quite a 'bulk' adder.
Interesting that it is going ahead so quickly... the sign on the front says completion due April 2014 but I would think they would ideally love to have it open in March 2014 given it will be serviced apartments and March is (as we all know) the peak time in Adelaide for these sort of apartments.

Not the best looking building, but the proportions are great. Hopefully the final finishes bring it to life a bit.

Oh god, I just noticed the roof of La Primavera next door looks absolutely horrid! Does anyone know if they're planning on fixing that eyesore, or keeping the rusty tin-shed look next door?
