This is still before the DAC. Should go to the DAP on the 17th if not won't be till next year.

Perhaps it should be changed back from U/C then? We all had our hopes up too soon.

Damiens confirmed the above.. gone to tender, received a strong response and council to make a decision soon. Hopefully one of us can make it to the DAP meeting will be interesting to hear the response from the new panel.

AtD you're right, i think we jumped the gun on that one

I think we altered it to U/C when the test panels appeared (before we realised it was just the prototype and not the actual beginning of construction).

Fingers crossed it won't be long, when is the DAP meeting?

I don't think it went before the DAP (it's not on the agenda) so it'll be next year.

I've heard from a trader in the area that this project may have been shelved as it could create pedestrian congestion in and around the intersection. Hope this isn't true though.

Last I heard it went out to public tender and there was a strong response. Now we're just waiting on council to make the final call to go ahead with it or not.

Isn't that the whole purpose of this plan? and that is what I want to see around the city.
